What is it? This event is a collaboration of The Entrepreneurship Club, The College of Engineering and Computing & The Darla Moore School of Business where participants who pitched their app ideas at the beginning of the semester have a chance to showcase their products. It’s up to Demo Day attendees to put on their entrepreneurial caps and give the feedback that will take these apps to the next level!

It all started with a massive problem that my peers and I have faced throughout our university experience when we had copious amounts ideas for apps but weren’t able to execute because we didn’t have the resources to develop them. In order to combat this issue, we formed a partnership with a computer science class who had the opposing issue of having plenty of coding talent, yet without the business sense. We had more than 30 students pitch their ideas and then the programmers selected their favorites. We have been working collaboratively with them throughout the semester to create these minimum viable products. This first time event is the culmination of this innovative project that we initiated with The Darla Moore School of Business and The College of Engineering and Computer Science at The University of South Carolina.
