Training Opportunity for Nonprofit Officers, Directors, and Executives
Columbia, S.C. Friday, Nov. 21, 2016 – A Board Leadership Boot Camp is being offered for board members, officers, and executives of nonprofit organizations throughout the Midlands on Friday, December 9th. This training, conducted by Mark Cruise from Governance4Good will take place at the Cobblestone Park Clubhouse conference room from 9:00-3:30pm.
A dynamic speaker and trainer, Mark weaves tales from his 30 years of experience as a nonprofit leader, association executive and board consultant, while enabling audiences to come to new knowledge and appreciation of their roles and responsibilities. With its crisp presentation modules, fun learning exercises, and useful handouts, the Board Leadership Boot Camp will help you begin to transform your average board into an exceptional, high-performing board.
The Board Leadership Boot Camp will serve as both an “advanced basic training” for new board members and newly-elected officers (e.g., chair/president, vice chair/vice president, treasurer, secretary) of nonprofit organizations, as well as an excellent “continuing education” opportunity for experienced board members and officers. Nonprofit CEOs and executive directors, whether new or experienced, will also benefit from this training experience.
Registration fee is $99 and includes lunch and meeting materials, including samples of key board policies. Click here to register.
