Thursday, September 22nd

Five after Five @ the five points fountain. Come out from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. to enjoy the free concert series.

 

Friday, September 23rd

The Riverbanks ZOOfari @ Riverbanks Zoo and Garden starting at 7 p.m. All proceeds go towards further conversation and education efforts.

 

The Irmo Okra Strut Festival begins at the Irmo Community Park. Admission is free.

Cherub comes to the Music Farm. Doors open at 8 p.m. and the show starts at 9 p.m.

The legendary Chicago comedy troupe The Second City Hits Home returns to Columbia to perform at Harbison Theatre at Midlands Technical College.

 

Saturday, September 24th

Head to the Fall Festival and Pickin’ Party at the South Carolina State Museum from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Carrie Underwood brings the Storyteller Tour to the Colonial Life Arena tonight.

River Rat Brewery hosts the Colatown Oktoberfest from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Admission is free.

 

 

Sunday, September 25th

The Lake Murray Symphony Orchestra Presents “Beethoven and Broadway” today at the Harbison Theater at Midlands Technical College.

Thursday, September 29th

The Columbia Museum of Art presents the Contemporaries’ Oktoberfest from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Friday, September 30th

The Disturbia Down South Haunted Attraction has begun in the Woods of Gaston, SC from sunset to midnight.

Today marks the start of the Historic Happy Hour Series. Meet at the five points fountain for a guided tour with a Capital City Cocktail.

Saturday, October 1st

Cosmic Charlie: Grateful Dead Tribute Band is performing at the Music Farm tonight. Doors open at 8 p.m. and the show starts at 9 p.m.

Skirmishes for Lexington will be held at the Clinton Sease Farm in Lexington today and tomorrow. Admission is free.

Don’t miss the Congaree Bluegrass Festival at the Historic Columbia Speedway. Admission is free.

 

Sunday, October 2nd

Join the celebration of Jerry Garcia at the JerryFest  in five points from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Admission is free.
