PSA from local councilman, Jim Manning’s Vote 4 Manning Campaign:
Join The Friends of Lee Lumpkin, William Starrett and Radenko Pavlovich on Sunday, April 24, 2016 from 5:30 to 7 pm at the Vista Room (next to the Blue Marlin on Lincoln Street) for a fundraiser in support on Councilman Jim Manning’s re-election to serve on Richland County Council. Jim has been a grand supporter of the ARTS in our County. He championed the effort for the County to be the lead sponsor for the recent luncheon honoring Misty Copeland and Brooklyn Mack. Last spring, when the Columbia Classical Ballet and Columbia City Ballet each fell over $20,000 short in merely maintaining the same level funding from the County for 2015-16, Jim stepped up and provided the funds using well over half of the monies allocated to him to restore the funding. He has also provided support for special efforts and events of the Columbia Philharmonic, the County’s Township Auditorium, the Columbia Museum of Art and the Columbia Music Festival Association.
Donations of all sizes are welcome and greatly appreciated. Per SC state law, contributions cannot exceed $1,000 per person.
Checks will be received at the fundraiser on April 24th and should be made out to Vote 4 Manning. If you are not able to attend, please mail your contribution to Lee Lumpkin at 21 Heathwood Circle, Columbia SC 29205.
For further information, you can contact Lee Lumpkin at (803) 467-4403.
