Many of you may or may not know City Roots lost $40,000 in crops and assets during the flood back in October. Krewe de Columbi-Ya-Ya has chosen to throw the Mardi Gras this year to benefit the farm, and has assumed a full role in the execution of Karnival this year. We’re not charging admission and proceeds will be raised from donations and vendor sales. City Roots farm has very limited resources to help us execute a great Mardi Gras. So it’s up to us, and we need volunteers!!
